Manufacturing Defect Warranty

Covers faults arising from defects in materials or workmanship. This excludes, without limitation, damage to surface finishes resulting from:

.Improper cleaning agents

.Abrasion or impact

.Misuse or abuse

.Hard water exposure

Residential Installations

Where applicable, replacement value is adjusted based on time in service.

Residential Installations

Units installed in a place of permanent residence and used as reasonably expected for an average household..

Consumables

Components with a limited service life requiring regular replacement, including but not limited to:

.Improper cleaning agents

.Abrasion or impact

.Misuse or abuse

.Hard water exposure

Finishes

Any surface coating, colour treatment, or exterior finish applied to a product.

Warranty Policy

General Product Warranty

Purify Plus warrants that the products listed above (excluding consumables) are free from defects in materials and workmanship for 12 months from the date of recorded purchase.

This warranty applies only when products are:

  • Installed in accordance with Purify Plus installation guides
  • Used under normal operating conditions

    At our discretion, Purify Plus will:

  • Replace the product with an equivalent model, or
  • Refund the original purchase price.

Workmanship Warranty

Purify Plus provides a 12-month workmanship warranty on all plumbing installation services carried out by Purify Plus. This covers installation defects arising under normal operating conditions.

Consumables & Warranty Exclusions

Consumables are excluded from the general parts warranty, but are covered under the manufacturing defect warranty.

Covered

Faulty on arrival or fails prematurely due to manufacturing defect.

Not Covered

Normal wear, clogging, or reduced lifespan caused by water quality, sediment, chemical content, or usage volume.

Due to increased usage in commercial environments, Purify+ tapware installed in commercial applications is covered by a maximum warranty of 2 years total:

Conditions of Warranty

  • Professional Installation Required: All systems must be installed by a licensed plumber in accordance with Australian Plumbing Codes.
  • Maintenance Compliance: Systems must be maintained using approved replacement parts.
  • Original Purchaser Only: This warranty is non-transferable.

What This Warranty Does Not Cover

  • Consumables
  • Misuse, abuse, neglect or unauthorised modification
  • Damage caused by water quality outside system specifications
  • Installation or repair by unlicensed individuals
  • Consequential loss, property damage or personal injury

Limitation of Liability

Purify Plus’ liability is limited strictly to:

  • Repair
  • Replacement
  • Refund of the affected product

Australian Consumer Law

This warranty is provided in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to:

  • A replacement or refund for major failures
  • Compensation for any other foreseeable loss or damage

Governing Law

This warranty is governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Victorian courts.
